because I've been seeing so much motivational content online and it's gotten me thinking about

what actually helps us to start to realize that we want to change the trajectory of our lives, aka set a goal, and then sustain it,

which is essentially what motivation is. I even looked up on Google and it said the process

that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors. So in simple terms, that's a

catalyst, it's a why, and it's a force that drives us on.

The thing that's really fascinating to me is that most motivational content and most of the

things that we see which trigger this kind of visceral reaction that we need to change our

behavior, they don't actually help us start or sustain that.

So it appears that motivation is far more than just inspiration.

And if we break this down into three key elements, the what, the why and how, then we're actually

going to be able to get to our goals rather than just want to get to them and then feel
