0:15.0	I was reading an article a few weeks ago that asked people to share their most brutal rejection stories
0:22.0	and I'll attest to the fact that most brutal rejection stories.
0:22.8	And I'll attest to the fact that most of these stories are brutal.
0:26.6	One guy said he had been having a hard time dating, so he decided to try his luck at a speed
0:32.2	dating event. And when he got there he realized
0:35.2	that he was the only guy who showed up. It was him and 14 women which might
0:41.0	seem like good news except in his own words he says,
0:45.0	All 14 chose to stay single rather than go out on a date with me.
0:52.0	Rough.
0:53.4	That one was my favorite.
0:55.5	But it also makes me really sad.
0:58.3	It makes me sad because I feel his pain.
1:01.9	Being rejected is the worst.
1:04.0	Whether it's been a job or a relationship or a college application,
1:08.3	friendship, family member,
1:10.0	we've all most likely felt the sting of rejection.
1:13.2	As much as we try to push it off or forget about the rejection,
1:17.2	it can be really hard.
1:18.8	Rejection can hit at the core of who we are.
