Hey everyone, this is Heidi St. John. Welcome to the Busy Mom podcast. I'm so glad that

you've joined us today. This is something I want to talk about something today that's near

and dear to my heart because many of you who have followed me for a long time know that

I have suffered with anxiety for most of my adult life. And the Lord has given me so much

freedom from that, but I'll tell you, it's still whips its ugly tail around from time to

time and is injurious at best. And I got an email from a listener, not that long ago,

and she was asking me about how she could live courageously. She went on to talk about her

story. This was a woman who suffered through an abortion. She has been mistreated by husband

in the past and really lives a fearful life just almost in absolute bondage to fear because

of a couple of events that had happened to her. And boy, I'll tell you, my heart broke for her

because I understand exactly what that feels like. And I also believe that that is exactly

where the enemy wants us to stay. He does not want us to be able to be courageous for the Lord

or even to get over our fear or step out of fear into faith and live courageously for the Lord.
