What's up everyone Kevin from Epic Gardening here. I am back with the one and only Rob Greenfield.

Yesterday we talked about tips for beginner gardeners and now we are plugging in some more tips for you on growing food for free.

And I'm really interested in Rob what your definition of growing food for free is and

then of course those tips on on how to do it.

Yeah what what is growing food for free? Of course you know we use that word free but

it's I guess what I really mean is is without spending money.

That's what it really comes down to or with spending as little money as possible.

So there's so many, there's so many resources

that are abundantly available to us. And so it's about. that's really what it's all about.

And that's something that I have been practicing quite a bit

over the last years.

One reason is to make make it more accessible for people that want to get

started and just keeping things simple.

Yeah so as far as I guess getting some of the resources to grow for free, what are some of the methods that you used for that?

Yeah, so basically, you know Yeah, so basically you know I wrote a guide and I've broken it down into all the different you know

aspects of what we need so you've got what you're going to grow in like a

container or a raised bed or just in the ground you've got compost nutrients

mulch seeds soil, and water.

Those are kind of like the absolute musts

of growing food.

Of course, sun, but sun is free already. That one's an easy one. So like
