0:33.0	We don't want you to treat them any different.
0:35.0	We just want you to know that you have these four geniuses in your class.

0:39.0	Now over the course of the next academic year, the teacher didn't do anything different
0:42.0	with these four kids because they were told they couldn't even bring it up.
0:44.0	They couldn't share it.
0:45.0	They had to just, you know, not do anything.
0:47.0	But what they found is at the end of the academic year,
0:49.0	those four kids ended up scoring way better.
0:52.0	The expectation we have of someone seems to influence their behavior.
0:55.0	The reverse also happens.
0:57.0	So if you're hiring someone and you assume this person is a dummy,
1:00.0	I don't know if they're really going to work out, you're actually bringing down their performance.
