I am the most apprehensive about a show I have been in quite some time to do this episode because it's a big one that on the surface is just like, ah, you're speculating about how to make your national team better. It's a fun one. But in reality, there are so many potential problems and potential issues to be ironed out. I'm very excited to have other people to bounce ideas off of, and I'm very excited to watch Ryan attempt to go down the rabbit holes we go down and wade into the weeds that Joe and I are almost certainly going to wade into the weeds upon. I wouldn't worry about it, Taylor. All we're doing is presuming that we know better than U.S. soccer and Mauritio Portchitino

as we look 15 months ahead.

Yeah, no pressure at all. I meant to grab my bowl of lemons for today's show, completely forgot them. They were going to guide me into building this perfect list. I do find, Taylor, that all this is a little bit less stressful. If you recognize beforehand that the U.S.'s floor for 2026 is the round of 32 and that they're sealing effectively is the quarterfinalsals. So really there's not that much wiggle room in there.

There's like one game's worth of wiggle room, that round of 16 game.
