What up, guys. So today's podcast is going to be on some ideas on competitions from the recent

things where in jihitsu we jih Tjitsu is more of a lifestyle than just a sport you know like a lot

of grappling arts like say wrestling as an example wrestling's kind of just a sport it is a martial

art sort of but we don't see it that way. We see it as a sport. And so anytime someone

gets into wrestling, it's typically because they want to compete. Well, in Jiu-Zitsu, a lot of people

get into it just because of the lifestyle element to it, right? And so competing is kind of the,

it's still important in Jiu-Jitsu, but it's kind of the secondary thing. Most people in jihitsu don't compete. If they compete, they don't compete off

them. And so that said, competitions are a facet of your jiu-jitsu that can improve your

jiu-jitsu and you can get a lot from them. They can provide some really unique and fun experiences.

And when you do them, you want to be able to crack open the experience to get the most from it
