So I'm just going to start here.

I'm going to talk to you about something I might be a little bit embarrassed about.

For years, I was totally and completely against affiliate marketing in my business.

No, I have to be very clear.

I have always respected influencers who made money posting links to things like their outfits

or they do sponsor posts or their skincare or people asking their followers to check

out their favorite brand of coffee, all of it.

And here's the thing, I didn't actually mind getting sold to.

Like, I've bought coffee on a recommendation.

I bought skincare on a recommendation.

I bought jeans, I bought shoes, I bought t-shirts, all on recommendations from other people.

I did not mind buying from an affiliate marketer.

I just never really felt like it was a fit for me until one day I discovered how much

easier it was for me to use an Amazon affiliate marketing link.

Now, I'm not going to talk to you about my Amazon affiliate marketing link.

Okay, this is not about me being like, use my Amazon link, not at all.

But this was the thing that actually changed my mind.

So for many years, people would be asking me for links to the camera or a lens or memory

cards that I shoot with, use and recommend.

I often talk on social media about the books that I read and people are like, oh, link
