So the general rule, for example, for a business owner is you need to be in business for at least two years because why?

Statistically, most businesses are going to fail within two years.

So if you survive two years, now on a conventional financing sphere, the lender is willing to go back and say, okay, let's look at what you did in the last two years.

What happens in that first year?

You're going to tank everything in your business economically, right? You're going to take every write-up possible you're going to take. So for most business owners, that first year looks not so good. I don't want to say by design, but it just happens to be a very expensive year. It's a year that you're launching and there's a year that you're going to have a lot of expenses to write up. It's about planning. Where are the timing that you're taking those

deductions and really projecting where you are going to want to be in the future.
