On today's episode, we're going to talk about something really important that I've had a lot of people

reach out about, which is how to find a mentor. How do you find the mentor that's not only

right for you, but it's going to help you get to the next level. This has come up quite a bit lately because in the last few months, I've had a lot of people

reach out to me and ask for me to mentor them specifically.

But I've also had conversations with friends who are extraordinarily successful in business,

who have run into the same issue with people just wanting time, wanting, you know,

free advice, free insight, wanting mentorship,

and going about it the wrong way. And so I wanted to share with you how to find a mentor,

how to get anybody to mentor you. Now, this is really important because it's a very specific process

and it does work.

I guarantee it.

I've tried it.

It's, you know, I've had some incredible mentors in business and in relationships.

I've had incredible mentors in finances and in human psychology and in the arts when I was in music.

So I'm going to share what's worked

well for me and I'm going to share what I've seen work well for other people. I'm also going to

share some of the pitfalls that I see so many people falling into when they're trying to get a

mentor. So first and foremost, let's just define a coach and a mentor because one of the big

things that I see is people trying to

get a mentor when what they actually need to do is hire a coach. And on the other side,

people hiring a coach when they're actually at the point of needing a mentor. So let's talk
