I'm your host, Corey Muscara, and in today's episode we're going to talk about following

Okay, so following your truth, this is a phrase you may have heard in your own personal

growth or spiritual journey.

It seems to be a common prescription for living a good life, follow your truth.

But there's a handful of complications with that phrase.

The first is one, what does it mean to follow your truth?

And two, a recognition that can actually be a very difficult thing to do.

The first part is a longer thing to address, and I think it's something that we have to

really develop and attunement for throughout the course of our life.

I actually think it's our very big work to identify and understand for ourselves what

actually is true for me, because we are inundated with so many different ideas and belief

systems, now cultures, values, community values, family values, a lot of that goes into

our own value system and our own sense of compass.

But a lot of it is also just noise and other people's storylines that we're playing out,

that a big part of our growth journey is just learning to parse that.

Am I doing this because I have some positive association with making someone else happy?

Versus, am I doing this because there's something deep in me that is saying this is correct
