Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

We're going to be doing our GM episode today. Scott and I each teamed up with our guys. I teamed up with Logan. Scott teamed up with Ilya to fix the Yankees. So that's what we're going to be talking about. Wanted to spend a couple minutes at the top, though, Scott. Talking about... I need a little bit more hype than that man this is a big episode this is this is

my favorite episode of the season not that the the rest of them aren't fun but this one is uh you

know the way that we're able to put our our mastermind hat on and and just fix everything in the

way that we see deemed fit is exciting man it's like you know this is fantasy baseball but with our team this is

this is like this is real life stuff this is this is actually a job interview yeah it's a job

interview you know because you know that they they listen to the nonsense and and basically we're

we're telling them that they're dumb and this is how you do it when did we start doing doing this? Was it the, I mean, we haven't been doing it the entire time we've been doing the podcast, which has been since 2015. We've done it at least three times. Oh my God, more than that. I was going to say we started it in 2018. Okay. So four or five times, something along those lines. But in the past, we've always done it. And this is like the disclaimer that we've thrown out a couple times now just introducing this episode as we're as we're teasing it. But in the past, we've definitely looked at our GM plans through the lens of Brian Cashman, right? Through the lens of what we believe, not necessarily what we believe

he will do, but what he should do within the precedent that has been set, essentially.

So it's kind of like this.

We've always gone within the guidelines of what we believe the Yankees are capable of,

essentially.

And this year, while maybe that's true for one and both

of ours, because we've been brainwashed for however many years. But this year, we kind of took

the guide, the ropes off a little bit and said, do it the way that you believe needs to be done,

whether that's within the realistic scope of the New York Yankees, like not to get crazy

unrealistic, but within the realistic scope of the Yankees, or, you know, just if Brian Cashman

is no longer there and you had free reign. Because this is, this offseason required the
