Team USA plays its first game this afternoon.

The U.S. takes on Latvia in the preliminaries.

If you're missing the sabers, keep an eye out for forward to H. Thompson,

who will be out there skating for the red, white, and blue. Meanwhile, tomorrow the women's team enters the quarterfinal round. First up, they face off against Italy. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 3 o'clock on Friday. Sticking with hockey, the AHL All-Star break wrapped up yesterday. The Pacific Division came out on top in the All-Star Challenge, the third win in four years for that division. Meanwhile, Amricks forward Consta Helenus won the fastest skater event during the skills competition on Tuesday. He completed a full lap around the rank in under 14 seconds. Rochster Amricks get back to work this Saturday. They take on the Utica Comets, back-to-back nights, beginning in Utica and returning home Sunday to finish
