Hello and welcome to another episode of Menace to Sobriety with your host, Dan O'Reilly.

I'm really chilled today.

This is going to be a little bit of a delve into some personal stuff.

Not my personal stuff, your personal stuff.

This is an episode where I want you guys to really sort of have a little think

about who you are, how you feel. We're going to be talking about how to build your self-esteem.

I decided to do this episode because it is so important to me, my view on myself. And this

episode is perfect for anyone that is overly critical of themselves,

that ignores the positive qualities that they have, that feels inferior to others, and that continuously

focuses on their setbacks. These are all thinking traits that ultimately lead to poor

mental health and bad days and just a sad, sad way of thinking about yourself and ultimately low self-esteem.

I believe personally that having low self-esteem is a massive factor in leaning into any sort of addictional, any sort of addictions.

And that's because I believe that the basis of my addiction was always not feeling comfortable

in my own

skin, not being enough and not being able to sit and relax and be at one with myself. I never

used to understand these say, you know, when they say, I'm going to find myself. I want to be

at one with myself and all of this stuff. I used to think it was so cheesy and just didn't

get it. But now I

truly understand what it means. You know when someone says to you like, who are you? Who are you?

And I think that, especially men, I think it's really difficult for men, but I think that we play

characters in our own lives you know you're either
