Summary

I have had some great teams in the past and had the worst teams in my time as a business owner.

Your team will make or break your company.

In business you might have an executive assistant, sales person, marketing person, and admin assistant.......all of them are charged with one task........push sales and bring them to the business.

Whenever one person drops the ball, they're hurting the team.

A bad team is filled with egos, all for one and one for all mentality, and this will absolutely destroy it.

I've had team members that have been present to pour into the staff, help and have great attitudes when it came to working towards one common goal.

This second team will absoutely skyrocket your company to profitable heights.

Find this team and get ready to flourish.

They're out there, but you won't attract them until you become a leader they can work for.

The one thing that will absolutely make or break your business is your team.

I have had great teams working and employed under my jurisdiction and control here in my companies, and I have had absolute

0:39.9

flops. Both teams were absolutely my fault, the flops and the wins. I take credit for both of

0:46.9

them, and I learned massive lessons from them, but a good team can make or break you. So let's talk

0:52.0

about what makes a good team. A team by design are people that come

together to take and execute on a common mission. If we were to take sports, we have basketball.

1:04.1

We've got a point guard, a guard, a center to forward, right? These are the guys that all together

1:08.8

play their position on the team to advance the ball down the court and score points, right?

In business, a team might be a marketing person, salesperson, paperwork pusher, executive assistant, a branding expert.

1:22.4

They're all together to do one common goal.

1:25.2

Drive leads and sales to the company.

1:28.6

That's what they're there for. And to service those leads and sales once they're made. But what happens is just like in sports,

1:34.1

if you get a sore loser or a person that's not playing their part or a person that's not

chipping in on the team, they'll bring the whole team down. If Luca goes to L.A., who's doing a great

job, by the way, we miss them here in Dallas, but if Luca goes to L.A. and every time Braun

throws in the ball, he drops it, he hurts the whole team. He doesn't just hurt Luca because he's

not putting scores on the board. He's hurting the whole team. It's the same in business. If you have a sales rep that's not put numbers up on the
