When you're in the thick of it and I know some people watching and listening right now are, they feel hopeless.

It's kind of like an iceberg.

The tip of the iceberg is like what we're experiencing right now.

But we're afraid of what's underneath.

We're afraid that losing this job means we'll never be on our feet

and all these particular things are going to happen.

we are talking about how we can have hope that things can change even when it feels like that they can't.

He is a musician. He's an entrepreneur.

He's an author. He is all the things and he's got some amazing wisdom for us

when it comes to restoration and bringing things back to how they should be.

But first, let's talk about how to have hope that things can change at all.

Well, I've got a silly example for you guys, but y'all, this is one of these examples in my life

where I have seen God's hand in such a personal and specific way

that you could not deny that God did it.

All right, well let me take you back to when I was about 23 years old.

I moved to this little house that was backed up by the Harperth River.

So it was over in Bellevue and it had a beautiful backyard that was fenced in.

But then outside the fence, there was this steep hill down to the Harperth River.
