| 0:09.0 | There could be millions and millions and millions of people watching this program right now, and every one of you was designed by God with a purpose. |
| 0:20.0 | And now here's Andrew. |
| 0:23.0 | Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. |
| 0:26.0 | Today, I'm beginning my third week of teaching through a series that I haven't titled how to find, follow, and fulfill God's will. |
| 0:34.0 | I've combined all three of these teachings into one book by that title. |
| 0:38.0 | We've also got a special little booklet. This is only 25 pages about my appointment with God. |
| 0:45.0 | And it's got a picture of me when I was 18 years old there. That was a long time ago. |
| 0:50.0 | And we've got a lot of material. We'll be making all of that available to you at the end of the program. |
| 0:56.0 | But I've already covered a lot of material, and there's no way I can go back through everything. |
| 1:01.0 | Let me just say that when I was teaching on how to find God's will, I use Moses as an example. |
| 1:08.0 | And I'm about three days, I think, into teaching on how to follow God's will. |
| 1:14.0 | And I'm using Moses again, and showing, now this is combining the scripture account that's in Exodus chapter three and four, also with Hebrews chapter 11 and Acts chapter seven. |
| 1:26.0 | There's some information in Acts chapter seven that's not recorded over in Exodus chapter three. |
| 1:32.0 | And when you put all of this together, these are some things I've already said, you find out that Moses knew what God's will for his life was when he killed this Egyptian and tried to bring deliver. |
| 1:43.0 | And he tried to bring deliverance to the Jews. So he knew God's will, but he didn't know God's plan, and he also missed the timing. |
| 1:52.0 | If you take Genesis chapter 15 and put it together with Exodus chapter 12, verse 40, you find out that Moses was 10 years premature trying to bring deliverance to the Jews. |
| 2:05.0 | And so because he got self-willed and tried to bring God's will to pass in his own strength and power, then he had to spend 40 years in the wilderness, and it caused the children of Israel 30 years of additional bondage that never was part of God's will. |
| 2:22.0 | You aren't going to speed up God's plan. You can't microwave your ministry, but you can delay it if you get self-willed and try and get in and help God. |
| 2:32.0 | And that's what Moses did. And so he spent 40 years in the wilderness, and here in Exodus chapter 3 is at the end of those 40 years, he was out keeping his father-in-law's sheep, and he saw a bush that was on fire. |
| 2:48.0 | Did you know in the desert with hot temperatures and stuff, it's not unusual to see a bush that would catch fire, but to see a bush that was burning and wasn't consumed. |
| 2:59.0 | Now that was something that was unusual. Most of you watching this may live in a real wet climate, and you don't appreciate this, but you know I live in Colorado, and during years of drought, we actually I burned my trash in a 55 gallon barrel, and so I burned the grass and stuff around it to keep it from catching fire. |
