I think the first thing is really important is that what you put in your mind and what you read and the people around you.

So I think too often from what I see is that young people are influenced by people that really haven't accomplished much.

Hey everybody. It's Ken McRroy at the Ken McElroy podcast. I've got my very good friend

here, Danny, the Nelson Financial Group. Hey, Danny. Hey, Kenny. Um, so, you know, obviously you're

very successful, you know, wealth, uh, wealth management and, and, and, you know, um, you know, uh, you manage a lot of

very successful people. Yes. And, um, you know, one of the things that my, my demographic from

my podcast is, you know, basically 25 to 35 year old people that are

trying to figure out how to, how to be better, not necessarily just money wise, but primarily

financially, you know, and what are some things that people can do that you've seen, you know,

because I know, uh, we both know people that are in their 50s, um, and in their 20s, you know, because I know we both know people that are in their 50s and in their 20s,

you know, that are uber successful at both ends and have made horrible mistakes along the way.

Sure, sure.

So what are some of the things that people can do now to help them prepare for later so that they weather some things like inflation

and the stock market crash and all those kinds of things. Yeah. So I think I think the first thing

in going back is now it's been 33 years that I've been at this. So I've been blessed to be able to

be around people that have made a lot of money and people have lost a lot of money.

So that's been a great life lesson for me.
