Hi. Hi, Ken. How are you? How can I help?

Well, first of all, I want to start out last week. I was reading from Proverbs chapter 20 and verse 5 says,

a purpose of a man's heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out and that just reminded me so much of you.

Yeah. I want to encourage you on that. I love that. That's so good. Thank you for sharing.

So yeah, Proverbs 25, verse 5. You get right to it here. I'm currently 39 years old. Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to be a pilot.

While I was growing up, several people started pushing me towards ministry. And so as a result, I actually went to college to become a missionary pilot slash mechanic.

I ended up flunking out of the maintenance school and the maintenance part of it. When I left, I was depressed, disillusioned, didn't know what to do.

Because of people pushing me towards ministry, I ended up finishing with a Bible degree and then I ended up going to seminary.

But the problem is I am not a people person. Just talking to you is hard enough. Yeah. So that just doesn't fit my skill set or anything.

Right. And now I find myself driving a semi and I'm in that kind of a position where I hate my job.

I look at the possibility of getting into flying, but it just seems like the cost and everything is too much.

Well, it is too much. Well, you're not stuck. You're just scared. Big difference. Huge difference.

The cost is not too much if you look at it over time. But you're looking at it right now going, my goodness, this is a mountain that I have zero chance of scaling.

And that's how we all do it, by the way. So not picking on you can. But you're in the wrong cockpit, man. You're in the cockpit of a truck and you know you need to be in the cockpit of a plane. You know you want to be in the clouds.

You've always wanted to be in the clouds. You need to be in the clouds. And flying as a missionary, there's nothing wrong with that.
