Good morning, you guys.

We are picking up with day seven of our fighting

for mental and emotional health devotional

Bible app. There's a link to that in the description of the

podcast if you guys want to follow along with us. And as always I'm gonna read the

scripture then Tori's gonna pick up with the devo. Let's do it. There's two

scriptures the first one is John 10 chapter 10 and it says this

the thief's purpose is to steal and to kill and to destroy but my purpose is to give them a

rich and satisfying life.

And the next scripture is Psalms 118 verse 24

and it says this,

this is the day the Lord has made.

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Two of my absolute favorite verses.

The devotional is titled Choose Life and it says,

when my father passed away I went through a season where I spiraled deep down into depression.

He and my mom had built an incredible church.

I had big shoes to fill as I stepped in to be the senior pastor. I was missing my dad

and feeling the weight of leading our church. I felt like I just kept walking

further and further down into a basement. I had walked down to a fourth story basement in my mind and my heart.
