- Shift to a margin model. Focus on making larger profits per deal rather than increasing deal volume. Increase your minimum profit threshold and stay disciplined about rejecting low-margin deals.
- Transition into higher-priced markets. Bigger deals often yield significantly higher profits with similar effort, making them a more efficient path to scaling revenue.
- Use the takedown method for wholesaling. Instead of assigning contracts, fund and resell properties on the MLS for two to four times the profit per deal.
- Incorporate cosmetic fix-and-flips. Focus on high-margin, surface-level rehabs in mid-to-high-priced markets to maximize profits while minimizing risk and time investment.
