Welcome everybody to the audio version of the Bootsley podcast.

So today I am going into the vault and I am finding some of the best clips from a 24-hour

clubhouse room that we ran this year.

It was an amazing experience to be part of, to host it, to admit it, and to grab friends

and peers from the industry into one room on the leading audio app and help hosts all

over the world. We had a lot of fun. We touched every single corner of the globe and

what I wanted to do is be able to put it together, find the best bits and put it into the daily

Boots podcast. So I hope you enjoy. The section is not more than 10 minutes but it's going

to feature a part of the 24-hour room that resonated the most with me. So thank you for

tuning in and I will be back tomorrow with another podcast episode. Right now though, let's

jump into that clubhouse room. So I'm interested to see what Lehman's got to say about guest

avatars and I think it's really crucial isn't it to pin down who you want to attract

into your properties. You know, if you do essay, it doesn't mean you all do the same thing.

We all have very, very different businesses and understanding your customer, suppose

he's really key, especially when it comes to direct booking. So guest avatars is something

that I'm going to be taking notes on. We're currently launching another business working

with the marketing company and right now we are really trying to nail our avatar, customer

avatar down is a property business slightly different but I think it's a great exercise.

We do exactly how we target in and what do they do but not only a vague outline of your

avatar, be very, very specific. You know, I said to Nick the other day, who is our avatar?

Where do they sort of socialise? Where do they use social media? What times might they

use social media? What's their friend circle like? What kind of things do they like doing?
