favorite writers and authors, Ryan Holiday. Ryan is an author that I've read for a very long time,

and some of his early work actually inspired this YouTube channel that we have now. Today, he writes

about stoicism, which is the belief that we can't control or rely on external

events, but we can control ourselves and how we react to those events.

Before Ryan was writing about stoicism, he was writing about his experience in marketing.

And actually, Colin and I made a video about one of his early books, Growth Hacker Marketing.

Ryan is a prolific creator.

He's written 12 books in 10 years.

He writes two daily emails and hosts a daily podcast.

He does upload to YouTube, but he's not really a YouTube creator.

And that's the beauty of this conversation.

He thinks totally differently than we do. That's why we think
