TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

PROVERBS 3:21-26 - My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion, 22 and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. 23 Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. 24 If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. 25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, 26 for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.

0:00.0	Welcome back, my friends. I hope you're ready today to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's
0:09.5	word. And to help us get started there, I want to tell you a little bit of a story about myself as I was growing up.
0:16.0	I was the youngest of five kids, and I don't know how much that really plays in to what I'm about to say,
0:22.0	but I just didn't really have a lot of confidence in myself.
0:27.0	Now I look back at my life being more mature now and older, and I can see that wasn't all the time true.
0:34.0	There were times I stepped into things and did things with kind of a confident looking demeanor,
0:38.0	but I know what I felt inside.
0:40.0	I didn't feel very confident.
0:42.0	I felt like I was stumbling about a lot. And I think a lot of us feel that kind of thing in life.
0:47.0	And so today is we look at Proverbs chapter 3, versus 21 through 26, I want you and I want me in our heart of hearts to be encouraged
0:56.0	that God wants us to have confidence for living.
1:01.0	As his children, he wants us to live confidently and we're going to learn about that today.

1:20.0	And we're going to be looking at Proverbs chapter 3 versus 21 through 26. So let's pray and ask
1:26.9	God to teach us what he wants us to understand today. Lord God your word is a lamp to our feet and it is a light to our path. It helps us to see
1:38.1	very practical things that we can apply to our lives and that you have in store for us.
1:42.6	And so Lord, we ask you today in Proverbs, chapter 3,
1:46.0	to show us how to develop confidence for living
1:49.7	according to your wisdom.
1:52.1	We ask it in Jesus name, amen. All right friends, Proverbs 3
