| 0:34.5 | nominated I said that's awesome and then they said we'd like to audit your |
| 0:37.8 | financials to make sure that what we hear is true and I thought that's cool |
| 0:41.6 | and then it turned out to not be cool because that's a lot of paperwork back and forth |
| 0:45.8 | It's like trying to get a loan app like trying to get a loan app approved and then it keeps happening |
| 0:50.0 | Because remember the small business administration is the organization that awards probably 90% of the small business loans out there. |
| 0:56.0 | If you get a small business loan, it's typically called an SBA loan. |
| 0:59.0 | And that loan is guaranteed by the Small Business Administration, which is a wing of the federal |
| 1:03.9 | government and so I realized oh no I might be getting an award from the federal |
| 1:08.8 | government which means I'm going to be audited which means I'm going to have a lot of |
| 1:11.5 | paperwork and so yes I have an audited which means I'm going to have a lot of paperwork. |
| 1:12.8 | And so, yes, I have been audited by the IRS. |
| 1:16.1 | Yes, I did have to do a bunch of paperwork. |
| 1:17.8 | Yes, I'm very proud of the achievements that my wife and I |
| 1:20.8 | were able to knock out. |
| 1:21.6 | We worked very hard to do that. But I think a lot of people listening to this show here are running a business very successfully and you're not winning awards. And I'll tell you why.'s because you are working hard. You're busy working hard. |
