Summary

Ever have those moments that don't feel like they're going your way? It could be that you suddenly got into a disagreement on a seemingly great day, your kids aren't acting like you want them to, maybe one of you lost your job during the quarantine period…..or maybe your dog stepped on a cactus early in the morning (like our story)

This episode is all about how to let go of RESISTING the present moment and what is HAPPENING. When you're resisting what's happening, you can get frustrated and not have a great attitude.

We'll share a relatable story from how our day did not go as we expected this week, but how we switched our attitude about it quickly!

So what we normally do, and if you listen to this podcast, you also know that we rescued a dog named Ellie. Ellie. She's about to turn one on Jocelyn's birthday. We actually made them the same birthday. Which I thought was cute. We're going to get like matching cupcakes or something so that we, or maybe little hats. Yeah. We knew her birthday was in the same month, so why not just have it on your birthday? Oh, thanks, hubs. So we normally walk Ellie in this trail here in Arizona on Sundays, but we didn't get the chance to do that. So we went on Mondayay today monday which was today when we're recording

2:07.5

she's a wild woman so there's a particular part of the trail that we've found is narrow enough

2:13.4

that she'll sort of stay on the trail so we let her off the the leash. Now, she has been taking it further and further, going a little bit further, chasing birds.

2:23.5

We're really having to practice our ability to call her to come back.
