Well... is the American Campfire Revival with Cook Cameron. Well, we've been talking about the beginnings of America,

and we've been looking at our spiritual forefathers and foremothers,

our political forefathers and foremothers, the pilgrims. These were brave men and women.

These weren't the weird little religious fuddy dutties that we see stereotype with, you know,

funny hats carrying turkey guns with belt buckles on their shoes. These were the out-of-the-box

thinkers. These were the radical thinkingof-the-box thinkers. These were the radical

thinking people who got a hold of the wisdom of God's word in their own language and they could

study it themselves and it set them free from the closed-minded thinking that they had been

indoctrinated with up until that point. And God had set them free

in their hearts and then set them free in their homes and set them free in their churches and

set them free in their nation. And they went through great lengths to be able to start something new

that you and I are enjoying right now symbolized by that flag that's behind me.

And we talked about them getting on that boat called the Mayflower and going across the

Atlantic Ocean and God miraculously saving them and them landing in Cape Cod and drafting up a

document that would be basically the playbook for how they were going to get along. And the very first thing that they knew

that they had to do was to govern themselves because there was no civil government where they landed.

There were no judges. There was no president. There was no Congress. No one making laws. And so they

had to govern themselves.
