How to create the life you want & earn what you deserve as a teacher

My goal is to help you create the life you want as a teacher. Did you catch what I did there? Okay, let me say it again, but this time, I'll do it a little more slowly: MY GOAL is to help you create the life you want to live as a teacher right now. Now, while I didn't use the exact same words, I did use a similar construction. That is, I started each statement with an intention. Specifically, I said, "My goal." That's right, in order to retain any new knowledge and have it become a normal behavior or something you do unconsciously – whether to learn how to manifest the life you want, garden like Ron Finley, or turn your teaching passion into profit – you have to do a LOT of repetition. So let's get started!

Intend, feel, and then create the life you want to live

In order to sharpen your saw and achieve the greatness you desire, I've created a 3 step process to help you create the CEO Teacher® life you want. First, however, what if I told you that creating more income as a teacher isn't about extra degrees or moving up the proverbial teaching ladder? What if I told you that it isn't about the next step on your yearly salary goal or becoming a tutor? What if I told you that it isn't about eventually becoming an admin? If any of the above are your goals, I'm cheering you on. But I also want you to know – they don't have to be. Because creating the life you want starts right now. So on today's podcast, I'm going to share 3 questions that I want you to ask yourself to help you get there. These 3 questions can (and will) change the trajectory of your life – but only IF you believe they can. Are you ready to get started on how to create the life you want today? 0:05.5	talking all about how to create the life that you want. The frontal lobes are part of the brain
0:13.0	that control the decision making and the overall executive controls in our day to day life.
0:21.2	So that is your typical coordination and deciding your answers and thinking about your
0:27.4	goals and any behaviors that you may have that you do on a day-to-day basis.
0:32.3	But current models, a frontal executive function, they don't explain our human decision-making moments
0:42.1	in everyday environments that are uncertain or that change or that could be open-ended.
0:49.4	So we can program our minds and we can redo habits and daily things every single day, right?
0:55.8	We go the same way to take our kids to school every day.
0:58.4	We stop by Starbucks.
0:59.6	Those are things that we have conditioned in our mind to do over and over and over and over again.
1:04.0	And our frontal lobes are so used to it that it makes it super easy.
1:08.7	It allows us to live our life without stressing or worrying about
1:13.0	what might happen next. But current models of what our frontal lobes look like make it really
1:20.3	hard to decipher why people make different decisions in everyday moments and why when things are
1:26.4	uncertain or they're changing or open-ended,
1:29.2	people find different answers. And so here lies why one person sets out on a mission to be
1:36.4	successful by selling their teaching resources or creating a program for teachers or parents
1:42.0	or students. And the other person sets out on the exact same
1:46.4	task, and one is successful and one is not. Well, my goal for you in this episode today is to help
1:53.5	you see the difference between those two types of people. I want to help you create the life
