And we're so happy to have you join us this week.

We are continuing our How-To series, and this week we're going to be discussing how to connect and contact your spirit guide.

So before we jump in, we just wanted to tell you some basic information that we've already covered, probably, I don't know, several hundred times on the show.

And in classes, we both call.

But it's important because we have a lot of new listeners as well.

So let's just talk about a simple definition of a spirit guide.

What's your definition of a guide?

My definition of a guide is that this is a person who has had physical embodiment,

who is working on their own spiritual growth on the other side,

and that they have reached a level of understanding where they are now able to come back to this side periodically.

And help others. So they've been assigned to us to be somebody who is a guide,

not to tell us what to do or how to do things, but to simply support us and give us guidance.

Yeah, exactly.

The way I've always seen it is that before we come to Earth, we create a blueprint for what we want to do in this earthly life.

And a lot of that blueprint is dependent upon what we did or didn't do in other incarnations,

or it's dependent upon people that we want to meet in this lifetime,

and we want to be able to help them or guide them or get help from them.

And so I've always seen it like before you hop into your mom's belly,

you sit around a conference table and you choose the guides that are going to help you.

And the guide has to kind of choose you too.
