Summary
There are three questions everyone, regardless of culture, economic status, or even religious conviction will ask themselves. Who am I? Where do I belong? And what am I supposed to do? Chip shares how you can find answers to those questions and then how to begin applying them in your life today.
Three questions we all ask ourselves:
- Who am I? (Identity)
- Where do I belong? (Security)
- What am I supposed to do? (Significance)
Why is it so hard to answer these questions?

Three obstacles to getting right answers:
- Fear rooted in SHAME.
- Hiding rooted in INSECURITY.
- Blaming rooted in denial.
God’s Answers: Romans 12:3-8
- Who are you? -Romans 12:3
- The Command: Think ACCURATELY about yourself.
- Where do you belong? -Romans 12:4-5
- The Reason: You have a ROLE to fill.
- What are you supposed to do? -Romans 12:6-8
- The Practice: Discover and DEPLOY your spiritual gift.
Never forget who you really are!
- God uniquely created you – you are ETERNALLY VALUABLE. -Psalm139:13-14
- God placed you in His family – you are UNCONDITIONALLY ACCEPTED. -Ephesians 3:19-22
- God gifted you to fulfill His purpose – you are IRREPLACEABLY SIGNIFICANT. -Ephesians 2:10

| 0:53.1 | It's about becoming a Romans 12 |
| 0:55.0 | Christian or true spirituality. And at the end of the day, we can call it all kind of different |
| 0:59.8 | things. But Jesus made it very clear. Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your |
| 1:05.2 | soul, with all your mind, with all your strength, and love your neighbor like yourself. |
| 1:11.1 | And in Romans chapter 12, it just gives us a snapshot of what an authentic follower of Jesus |
| 1:16.5 | looks like in everyday life. |
| 1:18.6 | And so in terms of loving God, he says, how do you love God? |
| 1:21.6 | What does God want the most? |
| 1:22.8 | He wants you and me, all that we are, all that we have, surrendered to him. |
| 1:29.2 | And then realizing that it's a battle, and the world system wants to seduce our heart away from our Savior, he wants us to be |
