0:06.0 | I'm your host, Gloria Mascara, and in today's episode, I'm going to share a simple, grounding technique to release tension and other people's energies. |

0:30.0 | Okay, so this is a simple strategy you can utilize when you feel like you are holding a lot. |
0:44.0 | When there's a lot being stored in your nervous system, when you feel there's a certain kind of heaviness in your body, or if you're an empath or a highly sensitive person, you might feel like you're accumulating a lot of other people's energy. |
0:58.0 | And need to clear it and let it go. This strategy really helps with that. |
1:05.0 | What it involves is standing barefoot, preferably barefoot, on the floor, or if you can, going outside in nature, in the grass, making direct contact with the earth. |
1:19.0 | And then imagine that your feet have zippers along the bottom of them. |
1:25.0 | So you're using some visualization here as you're doing this. |
1:29.0 | So you're standing, the ice can be open, closed, and there's just this visualization of the bottom of the feet having zippers. |
1:37.0 | And then you're going to imagine yourself opening those zippers and everything you're holding in your body, in your energetic field, is just rushing down through the body and into the earth, or the surface beneath you. |
1:55.0 | So it's as if these zippers are keeping zipped shut, everything that you're holding onto. |
2:02.0 | And as soon as you open, its gravity is just pulling it down, and there's finally an opportunity for it to release and rush through. |
2:10.0 | And once you do that, just feel as though you're being held and supported by the ground beneath you. |
2:17.0 | I like to feel as though the earth, the entirety of the earth is supporting me, because the earth can hold it all. |
2:26.0 | So we're just sending it back down, letting it disperse, and then feeling that overall support, as we replenish and reconnect to our true ourselves, rather than all of this extra emotion, thought, energy that we're holding on throughout the day. |
2:42.0 | So a simple force to practice, stand barefoot, imagine that your feet have zippers along the bottom, see yourself opening those zippers, and then feel yourself being held and supported by the surface beneath you. |
2:55.0 | Try this out, it could be an end of the day practice, or it can be something that you do when you feel like there's just a lot that you're holding. |
3:03.0 | And I think you'll be surprised at how powerful it can be, just as a reset and a re-ground. |
