A lot of times if you are cleaning the living room for your parents, they'll let you keep the

change that you find in the cushions.

episode. I'm going to talk you through cleaning your living room. For the most part, it's going to be

a speed clean, but we are going to do an important

deep cleaning task, and that's removing the cushions and dealing with all that trash, debris,

and whatever else is lurking under your couch cushions. We're going to get that cleaned up, but first,

we're going to take care of the surface cleaning. So the first thing I want you to do is quickly

pick up the floor. Okay. You might have shoes, kids' toys, pet toys, a purse, just any random items that are

in the living room floor right now and don't be long. You're going to quickly pick those up

and take them to the room where they go, put them away, and come right back.

Don't get sidetracked while putting things away.

Sometimes when we're cleaning, there's a tendency to get sidetracked,

which is why in my recent bonus episode geared toward teenagers,

I had them throw everything in a basket or box to be redistributed after the

cleaning session. But in today's episode, we're just picking up the living room so it shouldn't

take too long to put things where they go. If you find somebody's shoes, take those shoes to their closet,
