0:49.9	You've been posting some insane TikToks from on the ocean close to almost point Nemo or pretty close to it, paddleboarding far away from your sailboat.

0:55.3	video so far. But I just have so many questions about the journey. You're circumnavigating
1:01.9	the globe by sailboat alone solo. And I just want to ask, like, how do you decide to do something
1:10.0	like that?
1:17.4	Well, I never grew up on sailboats and didn't start sailing till last year. So, yeah, so it's kind of all still a little bit new for me.
1:25.4	But I mean, yeah, I just cross the Pacific Ocean single-handed.
1:29.1	So I have a little bit of experience now, you know.
1:32.5	I got into sailing a few years ago.
1:36.4	It was like the middle of the pandemic and I couldn't get work as a teacher.
1:40.3	I was looking to get a contract to be a fully certificated teacher.
1:48.1	And I was applying and applying and just couldn't get an interview.
1:50.2	And so I was substituting.
1:54.7	And during that kind of very sad, dark point in my life, I mean, it's the pandemic.
