0:09.2	We want to talk today especially about finding substitute books for science.

0:28.4	Karen, books going out of print.
0:31.0	What's up with this?
0:34.4	For science books, it seems like they do not stay in print very long at all.
0:38.3	Yeah, just a year or two and then they go out.
0:41.3	Yes, and you think that you have one, and this is going to be a great one,
0:46.3	and as soon as you schedule it, it's gone.
0:50.3	And so it's hard to keep up with those living science books being in print.
0:56.6	Sometimes you can find them in a local library. Yes. Even if you can't buy it new, you can
1:02.2	find it used or at the library. But if you cannot find it anymore, what do you do? Skip that topic?
1:09.5	Oh, no. Don't skip the topic.
1:11.6	There are several things that you can do.
1:15.6	If you can't find it at your library or on a used book site, you can look, check archive.
1:24.6	They sometimes have them where you can borrow them digitally.
1:29.1	So that's a good source there.
1:31.6	If you can't find it there, now you are going to have to do some digging.
1:37.1	And we're looking for another living book on the same topic.
