Good morning and welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset. I'm Carrie Green. I'm here to help you rethink the way that you're thinking this morning. I want you to kind of set aside everything that's happened in the day so far. Just take a deep breath and get ready to consider how

you've been thinking thus far because our goal with the morning mindset is to

set our minds in a direction that will not only serve us better for the day, but that will actually

bring glory to our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

The passage I want to look at today is Psalm chapter 55, so if you have a Bible, have the ability to look at a Bible please turn to

Psalm 55 will be looking at verse number 22 and the passage reads this way

says cast your burden on the Lord and he will sustain you. He will

never permit the righteous to be moved. All right so we're going to dissect this first just a little bit to understand more deeply what the

Psalmist is trying to convey to us.

Cast your burden on the Lord.

Let me ask you, what do you do with your burdens,

those emotional, mental stresses that come into your life?

What do you do with them?

There's many things we could do.

Some people just carry them around all day and let the stress build up over time and the

anxious thoughts become more and more anxious as the day goes on.

What do you do?

Maybe you ignore it.

Some people really try that.

They stuff it all down.

They don't want to feel it.

They don't want to be feeling
