0:00.0 | Welcome back to the morning mindset. Let's get right into the scriptures today. We're |
0:07.0 | looking at Psalm chapter 57 and I want to look at one verse in the chapter. It's |
0:12.3 | verse number five. |
0:13.9 | And it's a very short verse, so I'm not even sure |
0:15.8 | if I have five minutes worth of things to say about this, |

1:05.8 | he's already being. |
1:06.8 | Well, I think what the Psalmus means when he writes in this way is that he's really instructing his heart to |
1:16.6 | exalt God. You see he's directing his own thoughts to recognize and to accept that God is exalted. |
1:25.6 | And then he gives some descriptors |
1:28.3 | above the heavens and over all the earth |
1:31.6 | to remind himself of the magnitude of God's exaltation. |
1:37.0 | Now why is that important? |
1:39.1 | Why do we need to remind ourselves that God is exalted. |
1:43.4 | Well, because we at many times in our lives |
1:45.9 | feel much less than exalted, right? |
