In today's E-Commerce Content Corner we thought it would be a good time to discuss the big sales event of next week - Black Friday and Cyber Monday!
Next Friday the 27th of November is Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday on the 30th. There will be a huge spike in sales over this whole weekend period where sales are expected to be as much as 4x their usual amount.
While typically Black Friday is considered the physical retail store version and Cyber Monday it's online equivalent. With UK and EU lockdowns currently it's likely to see much of these sales taking place online. So you have a great opportunity here to really drive sales especially in the leadup to Christmas where you want to have your products ranking as highly as possible.
However, you have to also be careful you don't sell too much over this period to leave yourself vulnerable when the holiday sales hit in a few weeks and you run out of stock too soon.
