Recently, I wanted to have a small gathering with some of my inner circle, my colleagues and my friends,

and I could have booked a reservation at a restaurant, but I was hoping for something so much

more intimate and relaxed. So I decided to check out the new Airbnb services feature, where you can

actually book a high-quality service, such as a chef, a photographer, or even a little hair and makeup. I found a

great local chef to come and prepare a meal. And I try, honestly, to host so many dinners at home,

at least one a month. It's a great way as a working mom to get business done while still being

at home and around my kids. And there is something wonderful and personal about bringing people

into your own space. Plus, let's be honest, I want people to feel comfortable, to share,

to overshare. So home is where that happens best. After a long day at the office, I don't always

have time to cook. So you've got to love the option of booking a chef on Airbnb. And you know what?

It's actually really affordable, especially when you think about how much time you're saving,

not rushing around through the market, planning a menu and preparing a meal while trying to be a

good host. Or when you compare it to the prices of actually going out in LA, it feels nice to
