Our guy, Pat Thorman, who you and I have both been buddies with and played in a lot of leagues

with for years, works over at ETN and tracks the snaps and pace stuff at a really high

He said games last year averaged 126.2 combined offensive snaps.

average, sorry, for each offense, 126, 63 for each offense.

And it's not common when you think about like what's actually high and low volume to be more than like two or three higher or lower. Typically even just one play per game lower, kind of a lot of plates. Like it starts to mean something. When you talk about over the course of the season. Over the course of a season of 17 games, one play per game is going to cost you, you know, a decent number of. if you go two plays per game, you basically just lost half a game, right? That's 34 plays. That's because the typical teams in the 60s for total play volume, right? So you lost a whole half a game because you were two plays per game under the average. The teams that get really low go under 60 plays per game. That's like where Seattle was a couple years ago and everyone's like they're so slow.
