So this morning, I'm going to address the question that I see a lot in a variety of ways,

but it's still hints at the same desired answer. The question resembles something like, I'm not where I want to be. I'm not achieving my goals fast enough. I'm frustrated

with what I'm doing. How can I become a recognized expert? How do I become rich and famous? Or whatever.

So in general, this speaks to a particular mentality that I think is pervaded by our current culture,

exacerbated by the buzz feeds of the world,

constantly pumping celebrity stories as clickbait to yank your attention around.

And then the filtered, cropped, and edited false reality portrayed on social media

and the persistent retelling of the college to dorm room billionaire stories of Silicon Valley lore

that plays right into the millennial fantasy.

It has bred the quick and easy microwave mentality culture.

Everybody wants the quick and easy fix for everything.

I'm sick.

Give me a prescription.

I'm fat.

Give me that 90 day diet.

That's too long.

Make it 30.

No, seven.

I'm not successful at work.

Give me the promotion even though I don't deserve it.
