The model that I go by is do it scared, but do it anyway. And the reason why I say that is the only

ingredient you cannot change when it comes to wealth building is time. Every second, every minute,

every day that goes by that you don't do anything about your personal finances, it's time that you cannot

buy back. And the reason why all these 30-something-year-olds are talking about early

retirement is because they had the absolute privilege of investing their 20s. Like the 20s are when

you have the most amount of time, least amount of responsibilities. And yeah, you can go crazy

like me and work 70 to 90 hours a week to get there. And then the older you get, the more

responsibilities you have, the less time you have.

So that's the only thing that I keep in mind is I still got to take advantage of time. And if you're

too scared, the number one thing you got to make sure you have before you even invest a dime

into the market is having an emergency fund. The riskiestguesting during the downturn, as long as you're

not retiring, it's not your investments falling. It's you losing your job. You're more likely to just

need cold-hard cash to last to until you get your next job because you're not going to retire

off of your 401k right now unless your retirement age. And so I like to see most

people have at least three months of expenses saved in a high yield savings account or you can

even buy an eye bond for all that care. You know, don't put it in the market. Have that and then go
