Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing a series that I started just this last Monday talking about how to become a water

walker. I've got a book on this that we're offering for a donation of any amount, whatever you

So I'm taking this teaching from Matthew chapter 14, verses 22 through 33,

and this is talking about where Jesus commanded his disciples to get into a boat and to go to

the other side. Actually in verse 22 it says he constrained his disciples which means he had to

compel them because they could tell that a storm was coming in the natural it's not smart to go

out on the sea of Galilee with a storm coming down over

Mount Hermon and in the natural they wouldn't have done it but he compelled them

constrained them to do it which means that they were committed enough to Jesus to do

something that was outside of their comfort zone they headed in that direction direction, and that's good. And he also gave

them a promise to go to the other side. He didn't tell them to go halfway and drowned. He told

him to go to the other side. They had a word from God, and just like Peter later on, when he got
