0:00.0	Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote
0:15.0	ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are rounding out with
0:19.6	a seven of our better together devotional in the Bible app. There's a link to that in the
0:24.4	description of the podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm in
0:27.6	memory the scripture and then Tori is going to pick up with the Devo. Let's do it. The scripture
0:31.2	is Luke chapter five verses 17 through 26 and it says this. One day while Jesus was teaching
0:38.4	some Pharisees and teachers of religious law were sitting nearby and the Lord's healing power was
0:44.1	strongly with Jesus. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take
0:50.4	him inside to Jesus but they couldn't reach him because of the crowd. So they went up on the
0:55.5	roof, took off some of the tiles and they lowered the sick man on his mat down onto the crowd right
1:02.6	in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith Jesus said to the man, young man your sins are forgiven but
1:10.8	the Pharisees and teachers of religious law said to themselves, who does he think he is? That's
1:15.7	blasphemy. Only God can forgive sins. Jesus knew what they were thinking so he asked them,
1:22.6	why do you question this in your hearts? Is it easier to say your sins are forgiven or stand up
1:28.8	and walk? So I will prove to you the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.
1:36.0	Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, stand up, pick up your mat and go home. And
1:42.4	immediately as everyone watched the man jumped up, picked up his mat and went home praising God.
1:49.5	Everyone was gripped with great wonder in all and they praised God, exclaiming, we have seen
1:56.2	amazing things today. So cool. The devotionals title had chased diligently after God and it
2:03.6	starts with a quote by Helen Keller. Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.
2:11.6	The story of the paralyzed man in Luke chapter 5 is quite remarkable. Jesus spoke the words,
2:17.6	get up, take your mat and go home to this man and it brought instant healing. But let's not
