I want to say that God has programmed you for success.

God did not engineer you for failure.

God wants you to be successful.

God wants you to be victorious. God has a wonderful, wonderful

plan for your life. The tragic thing is that few people know the will of

God, much less do the will of God for their lives.

Carrie today, Adrian Rogers, is finishing up our series getting on top of your

finances. Now this is just before we talk about something very important today

is what is success? Well in God's definition of

success is a lot different than what we would explain. True? And so I'm reminded of

Psalm 374 that that says delight yourself in the Lord.

And then and only then will he give you the desires of your heart?

And so Dr. Rogers would always say, God's will for your life is God himself.

And so for us to delight ourselves in him and to know him more and the power of his resurrection.

Well, as you know, it was our privilege to have Adrian Rogers stopped by the studio from time to time.

And as we talk about success, this is how he defined it.

Success is the progressive realization of the will of God for your life.

Success is not the accumulation of things or toys.

It's not being praised or petted. It's not doing better than someone else.

Some of these things may be good and in of themselves, but that's a pathetic definition of success. Success is being and doing and
