What's up you guys? Welcome back to Unfiltered with me, Lindsay Hughes. I am very excited to report that I am back in my normal setup. So hopefully the sound should be a little bit

0:24.1

better than the past two weeks when I was recording on on the road. I feel like it already sounds

0:30.4

better. So thanks for bearing with me while I was traveling. And today I am very, very excited

0:37.2

to have you guys here. I couldn't really think of what I wanted to talk about today. So I was kind of sitting down. I was brainstorming and I had all these ideas. I have like an ongoing list of ideas for the podcast, but none of them felt right for this week. I don't know. I was just like, me, you know, I will talk about all that, but

0:54.6

you know. So then I was like really reflecting what is something that I feel very passionate about

1:00.0

and something that's kind of relevant to my life right now, but also that, you know, hopefully

1:04.6

can be motivating or inspiring or relatable. And that is the topic of what being single has brought into my life and reflecting

1:15.3

on like personal growth and big life changes. And I also felt like, you know, last week's

1:21.3

episode was pretty heavy and it was definitely more serious. And I was very like upset in that

1:27.0

episode because I was just talking about

1:28.8

such upsetting things. So many upsetting things that I feel like were very important for me to

1:35.1

talk through and talk about. And of course, I wouldn't have, like, wanted to record that.

1:39.9

If I didn't want to record that episode, you know, I wouldn't have. But yeah, last week's episode

1:44.4

is just kind of heavy. And I even feel like the week before that kind of heavier topics,

1:48.9

you know, just like a little bit more serious and negative. So I kind of wanted to do a more

1:54.2

upbeat, positive episode. I was feeling like it was, it was the vibe. Because I want the podcast,

1:59.7

you know, primarily to be something

2:01.6

that you guys come on for like an escape, you know, just like 45 minutes or an hour to just

2:07.1

escape the realities of the world. And I feel like I've been really kind of going off for the

2:13.1

past couple weeks about upsetting things. And you know, that's not always the greatest to listen to on a

2:19.1

podcast. So I don't know. Thank you for letting me for letting me vent. Sometimes you definitely got a vent.

2:24.1

Also, I get messages from you guys often telling me, you know, especially in recent months,
