He's on assignment today, but I am Will Terry and all three of us are professional

illustrators. We've all published, oh, somewhere around 75 children's books.

We've worked with all the major publishers in the business.

And together we've all taught illustration at university art programs.

All right.

Today we are interviewing Ryan Clayter, who is a professor at Michigan State University.

And when he's not doing that, the dude is making stuff, whether it's books, whether it's

designing, I mean, he gets into this, designing pinball machines and, and those neon light, you know, cool neon lights that like shift, you know,

to animate designing watches and whatnot.

Me and Ryan go back a couple of years.

I've had him on my YouTube channel.

Will, I know you've worked with him in the past, too.

He had me guest in his class.

Had it? Yep. Yeah. Guest in his class. And today we just talk about all kinds of... We talk

about, like, his project, obviously, coming up. We talk about a little bit of comic book history. We talk about students,

how students can be better at being students, and what it's like teaching and how do you

go about. Essentially, he created this curriculum and this, this whole branch of, the word escapes me, but a bunch of

classes at a university, what's that called?
