Okay. Okay, so I want to talk about how to make space for creative insights to arise, even though there's been a lot written on creativity and how it gets generated in the brain,

we don't know too much about how to train creativity for folks.

However, we do know certain practices that tend to facilitate creative insights,

and I want to share something that tends to work for me

when I'm really trying to explore new ways of thinking outside of my usual

patterns of thought.

And so this will be a short episode with a simple practice.

What I like to do, if I have a problem I'm working on,

something I'm trying to solve, or an idea I'm trying to generate.

I'll ask myself a question in my own mind.

So it might just be something like, what should I do in this scenario and I'll sit I'll listen and usually

very quickly there'll be a thought that arises that says this and then I

acknowledge the thought I say thank you thought, and then I ask, what else?

What else is there?

So I let that thought go, I drop in.

And then usually after a few moments something else arises. And it might be a good
