Summary

My guest this week says that we need a confidence revolution for women. She says we need to change confidence not women. The old way, when we were told to be more confident, it was to be in the same manner as our male counterparts. What if there was a totally different way to be confident as a woman? Lauren Currie OBE is the founder of Upfront and she is on a mission to change confidence for 1 million women by 2023. She is also the trustee and chairperson for the incredible charity, Pregnant Then Screwed. And in 2017 she was awarded an OBE for her service in design and diversity. I am so excited for you to listen to this episode. I believe as mothers we all need more confidence in ourselves, in our dreams, and in our ability to mother exactly the way we want to. Imagine if doubt could be replaced with more confidence. Even just by 1%. Imagine the impact that would have on you and your life. This episode is going to help you to do that. In this episode you’ll learn about: Confidence doesn't need to look like being the loudest in the room - it's feeling more and more comfortable with who you really are  Women have a reluctance to celebrate themselves and their work - we need practice doing it, so it becomes easier  How Lauren is raising a feminist son and what we can all learn from her  The vital, missing link between equality and women's confidence  How to unlock your innate confidence - to feel more capable of achieving whatever it is you want to in life  "Repeat after me, I am a confident woman speaking up for myself"- Lauren Currie As always, we continue the conversation over on Instagram, so come and join us there.
