Hey, I'm Kelly Wilkins here with Anita Joyce, and this is Decorating Tips and Tricks.

Today, we're talking all about how to create comfort.

We want your home to be like the comfort of a trusted friend, a place that holds your joy,

your memories, that's familiar. And we've got some really good ideas on how you can get there

if you're not there yet. I like to say, I want a home to give you a warm hug. To me, that's what we're

talking about today. I love that. And I did once get that compliment from a friend who came to visit. She walked in,

she said, it feels like your house is giving me a hug. And I thought, that is the best compliment ever.

It's so much better than, oh, I like your colors or where did you get that lamp? Because it's the overall feel.

And sometimes that's a little mercurial. Like, you really can't

put your hands on it, but you know it. You can feel the hug when you get there. So if you don't
