Summary

Hey y’all, welcome back to the Roots and Refuge Podcast!

I don't have a neatly written description for this podcast because things are hectic here on the homestead and I'd rather just get you this audio this week, even if the upload isn't perfect.  Thanks for understanding! I hope y'all enjoy this one I recorded in the fall and I can't wait to be back next week.

Thanks for spending this time with me today. If you love these podcastsand want to support the our homestead, be sure to check out our Patreon, where we post episodes early and do a monthly live Q&A.

really grappling with what stewardship actually looks like. And I think all of these are very relevant

0:55.3

topics to homesteading. You know, I open every podcast saying, here we talk about all things

1:00.6

homesteading. And of course, I know many of you may never plan on milking a goat or having a farm,

1:09.8

but my hope is to be able to share things that can be applied.

1:16.9

I love thinking about things.

1:19.5

Like I love, I don't know how to say this without sounding incredibly simple, but I just love

1:24.9

being alive.

1:25.6

I really do.

1:27.2

It's an incredible thing to just be

1:30.9

alive and I know that that sounds so simple that we might not even really think about it but

1:36.3

what a miraculous opportunity to think and to have relationship and to be able to have an impact on other people's life.

1:47.3

I don't ever want to take for granted this life that I have because I do truly view it as a gift.

1:54.8

With that being said, this last season for me has been, I mean, probably one of the more important ones in my life.

2:06.0

I think that when you look back over your life, you'll have like these periods of time that
